2021 Chicago Auto Show Features Ram Truck Territory Indoor Track
Being a part of the 2021 Chicago Auto Show is an exciting and rewarding experience for Ram truck fans. Attendees have the opportunity to drive a Ram truck of their choice on the Ram Truck Territory Interactive Ride, a 28,000 sq-ft in-door track that demonstrates the power and capabilities of Ram trucks. In this event, professional drivers help attendees navigate through the course in both the Ram 1500 and Ram 2500/3500 heavy-duty trucks. The event runs from July 15-19, 2021, at the McCormick Place Complex in Chicago, Illinois.
Track Features and Demonstrations
Some of the events taking place include the incredible display of a Ram 2500 heavy-duty truck lifting a 7,000 lb wall with its front tow hooks. A high banked wedge structure that is more than 6ft tall, 70ft in diameter, with a 30-degree tilt, puts Ram trucks to the ultimate test of stability that highlights the adaptability and durability of its suspension. The Ram 3500 has a high-output 6.7 L Cummins Diesel Engine under the hood put under a towing power demonstration by hauling a 24ft high “Tow Power Tower” simulating a total weight of 15,000 lbs.
Ram flexes its muscles at the show by overcoming additional obstacles such as climbing the 13ft high “Ram Mountain,” showcasing Ram trucks’ traction and hill descent technology. Performance-oriented tests are not the only attraction, but Ram trucks also display its driver-friendly technology features such as a 360-degree camera, air ride suspension, multi-function tailgate, and 12.1-inch touchscreen, with NVH features (sound suppression).
