Dodge has recently been rolling out their “Last Call” lineup, enticing fans and enthusiasts to see which vehicles get released for the list. The most recent release was the 2023 Dodge Charger Super Bee, which is the second of seven special-edition “Last Call” models, and it is the one that will honor the vehicle that brought “buzz” to the Dodge company for several decades. The Dodge Super Bee achieved its legendary status during its brief original four-year run back when it was first introduced in 1968. Finally, it became a Charger model in 1971, giving customers an ultra-high performance vehicle that could double as an everyday vehicle and a weekend warrior on the drag strip. The 2023 model year Super Bee aims to carry on the legacy as it will offer enthusiasts the highest-performing Charger Super Bee model that has ever been produced, even more impressive than the SRT Daytona.
The ’23 Super Bee will come standard with drag radials to help it fly too low quarter-mile ETs and will also include special Super Bee badging and graphics that will dress up the hive. The Super Bee follows the introduction of the special-edition 2023 Dodge Challenger Shakedown that was announced last week. Dodge “Last Call” special-edition models are being released to celebrate the Dodge Challenger and the Charger, which in their current editions are coming to an end to make room for new and upgraded models. In total, six Challenger and Charger models will be revealed through September 21, 2022; with the seventh and final 2023 Dodge Model (the very last of its kind) being revealed at the 2022 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, which is scheduled to be on November 1-4, 2022.
“The Dodge Super Bee is more than commemorative of a cool heritage name — it is also a Charger variant of the Challenger 1320 grassroots race package. The special-edition 2023 Dodge Charger Super Bee once again offers a Dodge vehicle that is equally at home on the street or the drag strip.” -Tim Kuniskis, Dodge brand chief executive officer.
More On the Dodge Super Bee
There will be a limited amount of 2023 Dodge Charger Super Bee vehicles available to purchase, as the special-edition Bee will see a production run of only 1,000 units with 500 Charger Scat Pack (in B5 Blue) and 500 Charger Scat Pack Widebody (in Plum Crazy) vehicles planned for this release. The 2023 Super Bee special edition will have Plus Group and Carbon/Suede Package content. Electrified Dodge vehicles are coming with reports that include PHEV choices, notable not only for their muscle cars but new changes are coming out for fans of muscle cars to appreciate shortly. To begin 2022, the Dodge brand is bringing out new appearance packages for buyers. The HEMI Orange and SRT Black appearance package create a surprising dry jet black body color paint that has an immaculate finish. The loud look of the HEMI Orange adds orange accents outside the muscle car with full-length orange accent stripe that goes bumper to bumper. Orange stitching can be discovered on the flat-bottom steering wheel, console lid, instrument panel, across the doors and armrests, plus the shifter boot. Rivals Are Not Keeping Up With Dodge Muscle
As we can see by the numbers, the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro do not have as many options and sell less varieties of choices. The “L” or “T” trim from the rival brands don’t really sound as appealing as a “Hellcat Redeye” or “Scat Pack” choice. This is just one of the perks that has kept loyalty among the Dodge brand and its fanatics. While we witness the upcoming EV pledge being constructed for a 2024 model year and production run, we will see Dodge present a new surge of options and alternatives for shoppers to love and welcome.
