Jeep has shaken up its vehicle range in recent years with the addition of two upscale Wagoneer models and two plug-in hybrids. Wary of expanding too far, Jeep has also pruned some links from its model lineup, such as the Renegade subcompact crossover SUV, while doubling down on core models like the Gladiator and Wrangler. Even though Jeep has successfully stayed true to its reputation for assembling off-road-capable vehicles, it is not resting on its laurels or getting complacent. To that end, the brand is making plans for electric vehicles. Read on to find out what has changed on 2024 Jeep trucks and SUVs.

2024 Jeep Compass

Alterations to the 2024 Jeep Compass are minor as the subcompact SUV received a substantial refresh for the 2023 model year. This year (2024), keen observers will notice that the Jeep SUV sports a new front grille insert and all-new 17-, 18-, and 19-inch wheel designs. Models equipped at the Trailhawk trim level also roll on new all-terrain tires.

2024 Jeep Gladiator

The 2024 Jeep Gladiator gets an updated seven-slot grille with slimmer vertical slots. This modification is not merely cosmetic; Jeep claims it also improves cooling. Other cosmetic changes include an antenna that is now integrated into the windshield, new wheel designs, and Sport models with standard premium soft tops. Improvements also affect the truck’s cabin. Sound deadening expands to all Gladiator pickups, offering a quieter ride across the range. Every variant of Jeep’s midsize pickup truck receives a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen with a customizable home screen. The new infotainment system comes outfitted with Adventure Guides software with Trails Offroad programming.

Moreover, the Gladiator receives numerous safety updates as part of the 2024 refresh. Structural changes are said to improve side-impact performance. For example, all trims now come equipped with standard side-curtain airbags for the front and rear, standard forward-collision warning, and adaptive cruise control. Off-road enthusiasts can rejoice over the debut of two new trims. The Mojave X and Rubicon X join the lineup with front and rear steel bumpers, an integrated off-road camera, and standard Nappa leather. These changes represent the largest overhaul of the Gladiator since it was introduced for the 2020 model year.

2024 Jeep Wrangler/Wrangler 4xe

Jeep has presented the most notable round of upgrades to the Wrangler since it debuted in 2018. A Rubicon X, introduced as a four-door SUV with the option of a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine or a 3.6-liter V-6, enters the lineup with an integrated off-road camera, steel bumpers, and 35-inch tires. Additionally, the Jeep Wrangler 4xe now has a new base trim, the Sport S. The 2024 Wrangler wears a new seven-slot grille that serves as a point of differentiation from the 2023 model year and prior while including ten new wheel styles. Inside the cabin, there is a new 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with standard Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay compatibility. The brand’s Trails Offroad application is available, providing in-depth trail navigation and information.

In line with its Gladiator truck sibling, the Wrangler includes similar safety upgrades to boost side-crash performance. The SUV’s off-road gear has been buffed up, as well. Wrangler vehicles equipped at the Willys trim level receive more ground clearance, larger tires, and high fender flares. A new trim level is the Rubicon X, boasting standard 35-inch tires, an off-road camera, and steel bumpers. The regular Rubicon trim level offers an available Warn winch with a durable rear axle and an 8,000-pound capacity.

Compared to the Wrangler and Gladiator, other models like the Grand Cherokee, Grand Wagoneer, and Wagoneer face relatively minimal changes for 2024.
