On September 27th, 2022, Ram announced that it would finally be adding the second installment of its Built to Serve limited edition series geared towards our nation’s hardworking Firs-Responders. Ram has chosen to honor these heroic people with a brand new Ram 1500 Built to Serve EMS (Emergency Medical Service) Model. The latest addition to the Built to Serve model is meant to honor the frontline heroes that provide emergency medical services to save the lives of others on a daily basis. Production for the vehicle will begin during the fourth quarter of 2022 at the Sterling Heights (Michigan) Assembly Plant.

“The Ram 1500 Built to Serve EMS edition is our way of honoring and expressing deep gratitude to the frontline heroes who serve or have served our country. At Ram, we are pleased to recognize the important work emergency medical service workers provide to their communities every day.” -Mike Koval Jr., Ram brand CEO – Stellantis.

About the Ram 1500 Built to Serve EMS VehicleThe trucks will have unique exterior and interior features that will set them apart from other vehicles, one of which is a United States flag alongside a “Built to Serve” decal on each rear quarter panel. On the inside, the Built to Serve Ram 1500 trucks embody the three primary emergency services by being accented with unique and corresponding color stitching. The second phase of the trucks will even offer blue accent stitching. The new Ram trucks will also be prepared to display the owners’ first responder pride through the Built to Serve embroidered velcro panels on each front seat, with additional Velcro panels on each front seat inboard shoulder panel. Customers can customize their vehicles by applying patches like flags, name tapes, and even slogans. The front seat-back panels add further customization as they are covered with Pouch Attachment Ladder System/Modular Lightweight Load-bearing Equipment (PALS/MOLLE) webbing so that additional equipment or pouches can be attached. The 2023 Ram Built to Serve EMS model will go on sale during the fourth quarter of this year and will have a suggested retail price of $54,915 (Plus Destination Fee).
