As mentioned, if more room is required, the Chrysler can emulate a work van by folding down all but the front-row seats to create a 140.5 cubic-foot loading area.
Safety Features
The most recent safety review of the Chrysler Pacifica was performed during the 2023 model year, with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) giving it near-perfect scores. The standard safety features include the following:
- Lane-departure warning
- Blind-spot monitoring
- Full-speed forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking
- Rear parking assist with a reverse camera
- Rear cross-traffic alert
- Lane-keep assist
Keep in mind, this is in addition to the typical passive systems such as stability control, an anti-lock braking system (ABS), and eight airbags. Upper-tier trims expand upon this with parallel and perpendicular park assist, front parking sensors, a surround-view camera, and Park Assist with automatic stop.
