2021 Ram 1500 TRX Sold for $410K at Barrett Jackson Scottsdale Auction
The first 2021 Ram 1500 TRX to roll off the assembly line (VIN #001) was sold for $410,000 at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona on March 26, 2021. It also happened to be the first Launch Edition pickup, with all proceeds directed to the United Way for Southeast Michigan’s 2-1-1 helpline, which provides assistance to veterans and their families. On behalf of Ram and the performance truck community, this is a testament to their high level of care in giving back to the community. Ram values all those who currently serve or have served in the United States military and Ram also shows its appreciation and gratitude through its “Built to Serve” truck editions.
The winning bid for VIN #001 was given a unique take-home authentication kit that included a presentation box with a special book assembled by the Ram Truck brand team. The book highlights all the design phases of the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX, including exclusive photos and video, a speed-form model, and a custom-designed truck cover.
2021 Ram 1500 TRX Launch Edition
The Ram 1500 TRX Launch Edition has unique exterior styling cues that distinguish it from other Ram 1500 TRX models. In regard to its appearance, it’s visually attractive and demands attention on the road as well as at a standstill in a parking lot. Anvil Gray paint is the exterior color that comes standard from the factory for the Launch Edition model. The winning bid and those who bought the rest of the 701 Launch Editions were rewarded with a special interior that features red accents throughout the dash and a brushed aluminum center console badge that identifies it as a limited edition.

United Way for Southeastern Michigan works alongside families and communities in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties in providing them with resources and basic necessities and resources in the areas of food and education. The 2-1-1 call center in Michigan’s Southeastern region is the largest in the state covering six counties.
