Dodge Implements Its “Never Lift” Plan
Chief Executive Officer of Dodge, Tim Kuniskis, gives us a glimpse of the company’s two-year business plan, which he nicknamed “Never Lift.” The plan calls for a minimum of one product or automotive-enthusiast-related announcement every three months. More information is expected to trickle in the coming months and into next year regarding the brand’s vision and electric vehicle development. Thus far, four news announcements have been made public, and it gives Dodge fans and muscle car enthusiasts plenty to look forward to.
About Operation 25//8
The company is initiating a 25-car giveaway that will span a total of eight weeks, and it’s calling its program “Operation 25//8.” Further details indicate the program will obtain the support of 25 well-known celebrities from the world of sports, music, and the auto industry. Each offers muscle-car enthusiasts a chance to drive off with a new Dodge vehicle of their choosing.
Chief “Donut Maker”
A consumer program is also underway, which Dodge is calling “Chief Donut Maker” (no, Dodge is not looking for a person to make donuts); the company is instead looking for an ambassador of the “Never Lift” program who has the same spirit and drive the original founding Dodge brothers had. This is an actual job listing Dodge is planning to open in the future that carries with it a whole bunch of perks and benefits such as a free Hellcat muscle car, a $150k base salary, a wardrobe, and a business card that carries the title “Chief Donut Maker.” (Dodge will provide more information on this program in early Spring 2022).
Dodge Power Brokers
Dodge is introducing a network of elite dealerships that will be known as “Power Brokers,” and they will be equipped with staff trained to deliver a performance-focused customer service experience. (According to Dodge, only dealerships with a proven track record of providing an elevated level of customer service are eligible for Dodge Power Brokers certification). With this customer service initiative, customers will be able to purchase a vehicle with upgrades directly from a Dodge Power Brokers dealership, with the added benefit of maintaining the balance of the factory vehicle warranty when parts are installed. These dealerships will also host performance trials for enthusiasts and feature a full lineup of Dodge performance models available for customer test drives. (The Dodge Power Broker is scheduled to start on Dec. 15, 2021.)
Direct Connection
Direct Connection Performance Parts (DCPP) is making a return to the market as the only source of factory-backed performance parts that will be available at Dodge Power Brokers dealerships. DCPP will launch with a full line of factory-tuned parts that includes various state-legal “tuner” and “stage” kits for customers that desire to enhance the performance and handling of their Dodge vehicles (DCPP will be made available on Dec. 15, 2021).
