Dodge Durango R/T Plus Adds New Features for 2022
The current generation Dodge Durango has been around for a decade since joining the lineup in 2011 and has received various updates and improvements throughout the years. All-New R/T Plus Trim
Dodge already has a “plus trim” for the SXT and GT and now it makes its way to the R/T with the “R/T Plus” that adds new luxury and technology features. This new trim builds off the GT Plus trim and offers buyers a more refined driver’s experience. It mostly consists of technology and safety upgrades which is a major “plus” for families looking to finance or lease a new Dodge Durango. Some of the active safety systems on the R/T Plus include Blind-Spot Detection, Forward-Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, Advanced Brake Assist, and Lane Departure Warning.
Interior Upgrades
Buyers get more than just a powerful engine in the new R/T Plus, in this trim, Dodge adds a hint of luxury and improved technology. For example, a sunroof is now standard equipment along with an 825-Watt Harman Kardon 19-Speaker Audio System, and an upgraded instrument panel. The headliner is made from suede and the seats are Nappa leather for a premium feel inside the cabin. There is also an optional Blu-ray® Entertainment System for the backseat that consists of two High-definition 9-inch screens for watching movies and playing video games via HDMI and RCA cables.
