Chrysler Is Making A Strong Comeback!

In early March 2022, an event was held outside of Amsterdam to discuss the future of the Stellantis empire and its wide range of products. It was there we were able to see that the future of Chrysler is going to be more than just bright. With incoming future Chrysler models that “look really gorgeous,” according to CEO Carlos Tavares, we’re all excited to see what’s in store for this beloved brand! “Chrysler is one of the emotional pillars of the former FCA. It’s important for us to give this brand a future and an opportunity to rebound. Chrysler will be relaunched,” something Carlos Tavares also mentioned; is keeping us at the edge of our seats!
Exciting new additions for Chrysler
One of the first models we expect to see launched in the Chrysler revamp is the Airflow (pictured above). What exactly is the Chrysler Airflow? It will be the electric compact crossover that will take the world by storm that was unveiled to us earlier this year! Tavares has also mentioned that he expects that the Chrysler brand will be fully electric by 2028, as well as including two more minivans to their collection, ultimately bringing them to a total of 4 minivans total thus far! Chrysler is truly pushing itself to the top spot with all the new concepts. As it is already an incredible brand for minivans, adding electric capabilities will bring their cars towards an even brighter future that we all can get on board with!
Curious about the airflow?
A piece of fun and interesting information is that the Airflow name has already been trademarked as it has a little nod to their history from a previous model from the 1930s! The Airflow will feature a range of 350-400 miles, and will even have quick charging capabilities, allowing customers to truly get the most out of their vehicle. Breaking the standards of high gas prices, and allowing customers a safer, more affordable, and convenient way to get behind the wheel is truly the future Chrysler is heading towards. The Airflow will also feature a dual-motor set up which will bring electric motors both in the front and rear of the vehicle. Each of those has 201 horsepower, with more details to be released for the combined output figure. Whether it’s with the new STLA software and connectivity systems, or the fact that each passenger will have their own central infotainment display; the Airflow will truly be a pioneer for the future EVs and Chrysler as a whole!
