2021 Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle

Chrysler is making great strides in the minivan segment with the Chrysler Pacifica that offers a pleasant ride quality and a long list of technology and comfort features for the whole family. The Pacifica is a well-rounded minivan, especially with the top-tier Pinnacle trim that comes fully loaded with every possible feature that ranges from gentle ride quality, a capable engine, great gas mileage, and a spacious cargo area. Some of the highlights of the Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle are a rear-seat entertainment system, a built-in vacuum cleaner, and a specialized camera that displays images of the rear seats through the driver’s touchscreen also known as a “FamCam” that enables the driver and front passenger to keep an eye on their little ones.

Seating Capacity and Technology

Three-row seating is standard on the Chrysler Pacifica with ample room to seat up to eight passengers (with the second-row bench) or seven passengers (with the second-row bucket seats). The Pinnacle trim comes with standard quilted Nappa-leather seats, eight-way power-adjustable front passenger seats (with heating and ventilation functions) including power-folding third-row bench seating. For convenience, the Pinnacle trim features hands-free power-sliding rear doors so passengers can get in and out of the vehicle with ease.

The Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle comes with a whole list of technology features that include:

  • A UconnectⓇ 5 10.1-inch touchscreen with built-in navigation
  • Dual-screen rear-seat Entertainment System
  • Available Android Auto and Apple CarPlay Connectivity
  • 19-Speaker Premium Harman Kardon Sound System
  • Amazon Alexa Assistant
  • Up to 12 USB ports
  • Wi-Fi Hotspot and FamCam

Engine and Performance

Under the hood of the Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle is a 3.6 L V6 engine that produces 287hp and 262 lb-ft of torque via a nine-speed automatic transmission. Gas mileage is great on the Pinnacle trim with 19mpg in the city and 28mpg on the highway, however, opting for the plug-in Hybrid model gives drivers a driving range of 488 miles (on the gasoline engine) and 32 extra miles (on its electric motors) that amounts to a total driving range of 520 miles. There is also an optional $995 Trailer Tow Package that enables the Chrysler Pacifica to tow up to 3,600 lbs.

Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle Plug-In Hybrid

The hybrid Chrysler Pacifica has better acceleration than its gasoline counterpart because of the instant torque it generates from its electric motors. Another benefit of the hybrid version is superior fuel economy that is a top-selling point for Chrysler. Many families desire a minivan that can travel long distances and that has ample power to get going on the road.

Vehicle Pricing

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle (gasoline only) trim has a base price of $54,095 and the plug-in hybrid model has a starting price tag of $53,550. Pricing is also subject to change to accommodate destination fees and other add-ons.
