The first generation of minivans debuted on November 2, 1983, when the Plymouth Voyager rolled off the line at the Windsor Assembly plant in Ontario, Canada. The second available powertrain is a 3.6-liter V-6 engine paired with two electric hybrid motors to deliver 260 horsepower while going from zero to 60 miles per hour in 7.8 seconds. Both engines are mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. The standard engine has a maximum towing capacity of 3,600 pounds. The Pacifica comes standard with front-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive is an available option.
