How Chrysler is Electrifying the Electricity Expo in New York

Chrysler put an electric charge into the Electrify Expo in New York by bringing an entire cavalcade of Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid vehicles along with a large brand display to the event. The Expo took place between the dates of August 27-28, 2022, at Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York. The Electrify Expo is North America’s biggest e-mobility festival that gathered over 70 electric vehicles under its roof. The expo was filled with over 1 million square feet of a display area that featured the world’s TOP electric mobility brands.
Attendees of the expo were able to get behind the wheel and experience the award-winning Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid first-hand at the ride-and-drive area. Showgoers were able to learn all about the key features of the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid from Chrysler product specialists this past weekend, giving enthusiasts more information about the vehicle. The Chrysler exhibit area at the expo featured more Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid vehicles and had a video display dedicated to the Chrysler Airflow battery-electric vehicle concept (which was revealed earlier this year). This concept is what Chrysler has put at the forefront of its electric transition, making it the representative of the brand’s electrified future. It showcased the dynamic design, advanced technologies, and seamless connectivity of the concept and how it will categorize the brand’s all-electric transformation.
More on the 2022 Pacifica Hybrid
The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is the first (and is still the only) plug-in hybrid segment that offers over 30 miles of all-electric range, which is more than 80MPGe (miles per gallon equivalent, with a total range of over 500 miles. The Pacifica Hybrid is able to help charge the battery when braking or the vehicle is stopped by using the built-in regenerative braking feature. It offers buyers the most standard features within the industry, with over 115 standard and available safety and security features which include: Adaptive Cruise Control, Pedestrian Automatic Emergency Braking, Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, and so much more.
The current Chrysler Pacifica is the most awarded minivan and has remained so, over the last six years with a surplus (over 170 to be exact) of industry accolades and honors since it was first introduced as a minivan. The 2022 Chrysler Pacifica earned a TOP SAFETY PICK+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) for the 2022 model year! With its electrification on the way, it can only be expected to be even better than before.
