The Jeep Wrangler 4xe outsold the Prius in 2021 and is currently the No. 1 PHEV in the country. The Grand Cherokee 4xe arrives later in 2022.
“The 4xe could make Jeep die-hards change their mind about leaving [internal combustion engines], When you drive electric Jeeps you fall in love with them. A lot of torque is awesome for off-road driving. It’s cool to be green,” Meunier added in a statement to the media.

This is the identical charger Stellantis will deliver for other brands like the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid and future EVs arriving out later this decade. The price is $599 with a Jeep or Chrysler nameplate with a three-year warranty. The installation will be completed by Qmerit, though this price point does not include the installation expense.
“Our new, factory-backed, at-home, Level 2, plug-in charging units offer a quick, seamless charging solution for Jeep 4xe and Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid owners. At Mopar, we’ll continue to enhance the customer experience and expand our electric-vehicle portfolio of accessories,” added Mark Bosanac, North America vice president, Mopar service, parts & customer care.
