Jeep Salutes the U.S Military With A New Special Edition
The Jeep brand wanted to pay homage to U.S military members by offering a military-themed, special limited-edition Freedom package for the 2023 Wrangler as well as the 2023 Gladiator. This package will feature military-themed exterior design cues as well as military-themed interior design cues. Jeep will also be making a $250 donation to military charities with every Freedom edition that is sold.
Jim Morrison, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand North America had this to say about the Jeep Brand’s homage to the military “ With our 1941 origins rooted in the military, we at the Jeep brand are proud of our heritage, and the Gladiator and Wrangler Freedom editions are a tribute to all the servicemen and servicewomen. Through these special editions, this Fourth of July we honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country and support those who have served and continue to serve.”
About the Special Edition Package
The Jeep Wrangler and the Jeep Gladiator Freedom special-edition vehicles will include enhancements to its capabilities, and some unique exterior features like an Oscar Mike badge on the rear taillgate/swing gate. The Gladiator and Wrangler Freedom editions will also boast LED headlamps and fog lamps, a winch-capable steel front bumper, steel rock rails, black wheels/accents, body-color fender flares, and an American flag decal will be placed along the side of each vehicle. Inside of the Freedom edition vehicles, the interior will be beautifully lined with leather-trimmed cloth seats and black accent stitching. On top of this, every active and recently retired service members will also qualify for $500 military bonus cash for both the 2023 Wrangler and the Gladiator Freedom special editions!
These special editions will be available for a limited time, and orders will open for both of the Freedom special editions later this month. The vehicles will be scheduled to begin arriving at Jeep dealerships right on time for Veterans Day. Both the Wrangler and the Gladiator Freedom editions are also available on the Sport S trim at a package price for around $3,295.
Both of the Freedom special edition vehicles come standard with the Jeep Wave customer service program, and can be upgraded for the premium loyalty program.
