Starting Prices for New 2022 Jeep Compass Lineup Revealed
The Jeep Compass enters the 2022 model year with a new premium-like design and an all-new modern interior with a whole host of safety and convenience features. These updates are present throughout the entire Compass SUV lineup consisting of six trim levels: Sport, Latitude, Latitude LUX, Limited, Trailhawk, and High Altitude. 2022 Compass Sport / Latitude
The Compass Sport is the base model, but it still comes with several popular standard features at an affordable price point. With a whole new design that is stylish and refined, the Sport starts at $24,995 for the front-wheel-drive model and $26,495 for the 4×4 models (with the addition of destination fees). Under the hood of the Sport is a 2.4 L TigerShark 4-cylinder engine that puts out 177hp and 172 lb-ft of torque. The 4×2 models deliver an impressive 31 mpg highway, and its 13.5-gallon fuel tank enables it to have about 400 miles of range and a towing capacity of 2,000 lbs with 4×4 models. The Sport features standard 16-inch alloy wheels with all-season tires and roof rails.
A step up from the Sport model is the Compass Latitude and has a starting price tag of $26,525 for FWD models and $28,025 for 4×4 models (plus applicable destination fees). The interior of the Latitude is where this trim level wears its strong suit. The cabin features premium cloth and vinyl seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a leather shift knob, and ambient interior lighting. Exterior features include 17-inch aluminum wheels, automatic headlight functionality, and fog lights.
2022 Compass Latitude LUX / Limited
Jeep introduces a new trim level to the Compass lineup with the Latitude LUX with a starting price point of $29,595 (plus the destination fee). This new addition to the Jeep Compass family offers consumers a new comfort level, luxury, and safety. The LUX trim rides on 18-inch aluminum satin carbon wheels with all-season tires. Its exterior features include auto-high beam headlight functionality, LED tail lights and LED fog lights, windshield wiper de-icer, dual-panel panoramic sunroof, a foot-activated liftgate, and remote-start functionality. The LUX trim’s interior highlights include premium leather, heated front seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, eight-way power driver seat, auto-dim rearview mirror, a 7-inch full-color TFT digital cluster display, and a nine-speaker Alpine Sound System.
The fourth sibling of the Jeep Compass family is the Compass Limited that starts at $31,395 (plus destination fee). This trim takes premium materials and features to the next level with a new Black and Steel Grey interior with Sepia accents. There are soft-touch materials throughout the cabin in combination with contrast stitching on the interior door panels. Other features include a leather-wrapped steering wheel with Satin Chrome accents, heated front seats, rearview auto-dimming mirror, and a 10.1-inch digital UconnectⓇ 5 touchscreen.
2022 Trailhawk / High Altitude
The Compass Trailhawk is an excellent choice for consumers who desire a family SUV with superb off-road handling for extreme off-road performance. With a starting price tag of $31,395 (plus destination fee), the Trailhawk comes with a 1-inch factory lift to deliver 8.6 inches of ground clearance with the ability to drive in 19-inches of water. The exterior consists of high-strength steel skid plates, red-colored front and rear tow hooks, 17-inch aluminum wheels in all-season performance tires. With available Hill-descent Control, the Compass Trailhawk allows drivers to control vehicle speed down steep declines without the need for throttle or brake pedals. For 2022, the Trailhawk receives a new matte-black front grille that is larger to maximize airflow, and it’s the only Jeep Compass to feature a matte-black hood.
The top-tier Compass High Altitude is the pinnacle of the Compass lineup with premium refinement and upscale exterior styling. The High Altitude starts at a price tag of $33,990 (plus destination fee) and includes many of the features found on the lower trims plus much more. Standard features on the High Altitude include 19-inch aluminum wheels, the latest UconnectⓇ 5 software (with built-in navigation), a 10.1-inch touchscreen, a panoramic sunroof, and a 10.25-inch Driver Information Digital Cluster Display.
